Role in the Office of the Chancellor
Currently, I serve as the e-Curriculum Director for Academic Innovations. My recent work projects include quality of online learning, learning objects exchange, and working to discover priorities and issues of online students.Before working in Academic Innovations and with Minnesota Online, I was a faculty coordinator for Occupational Skills, a program for students with disabilities.
Academic Background
My
background is in education technology. I have a full and
interesting work history that includes a variety of projects and
initiatives related to curriculum, faculty development, teaching
and learning with technology, accessibility, and transition
services for students with disabilities. My Ph.D is in Education
with an education technology specialization (Walden,2005). My M.Ed.
is in Vocational Special Needs (University of
Minnesota, 1995).
Of Note
A
frequent presenter at regional, state, and international
conferences I work within the Minnesota State Colleges and
Universities to bring forward and resolve issues connected to
online learning and instructional technology. I am a member of the
Higher Learning Commissions Peer Review Corps.
